The Mule Association, Love Valley (MALV), is a not-for-profit organization that was founded to promote the education, community service and social activities of mule/horse lovers across the eastern part of the US, with a focus on our youth. While mule/horse owners make up the majority of the MALV membership, it is not a requirement to own a mule or horse. All equine lovers are welcome and encouraged to become members. The MALV publishes a newsletter to keep members, non-members and sponsors informed of what is happening in Love Valley. Over 200 copies are sent each issue. In October the MALV holds its annual Chili Cook Off & Festival. The Cook Off has become a scheduled location for the CASI chili cookers each year. Other events annually sponsored by the MALV are the Easter egg hunt & games, Mother’s Day Celebration, Father's Day (including a poker ride for KIDS and adults with lunch), Community yard sale, Car/Truck/Motorcycle show, July 4th Parade, Traders day, Annual Bluegrass Fiddlers   Convention, Organized trail rides, Halloween Pumpkin carving and  costume contest, Halloween Carnival and the Love Valley Christmas Parade. The MALV also enjoys participating  in the various other events which are scheduled annually in Love Valley
